Urban Legend - seriously, who would ever really do this?

We've heard stories that there were people in costume running around Taylorsville 
last year with shopping carts, silly string flying, dancing at the 
street corners, giving bad directions to other teams, and cursing our 
names after eating Leatherby's incredibly smooth ice cream. 

(Urban Legend.....all of it.)

We only know that on a certain Saturday morning in March cars and trucks pull into a parking lot and unload shopping carts to be decorated, people to be costumed, and the "gear" it takes so you can be prepared for anything!


(Have you ever had to get your cart free from rope tied in knots around 
a light pole? Don't cut the rope...it could come in 
handy at the next location!)


  Teams will have to create their own route to 5 challenge locations where 
they will compete in crazy and fun challenges. Your team will get points at each 
location and once you have completed all 5 you will make it back to the finish.

(Enthusiasm is key to this event!) 
 
There is no set route. 
No roads will be closed. 
You will be running with vehicles and pedestrians.  
We promise this will be fun!

(You should see peoples faces, driving in their cars, when they watch teams go by!)

The cost is $40 per team.  
The race will start at 10:00 AM and teams must be finished by 12:30 PM. 
There will be a party after while we are tallying scores and announcing winners.  
If you are efficient the route will be around 2 1/2 miles. 
If you are inefficient we look forward to hearing what route you took!

Temporary "Dog" Adoption Available! If you have found 4 people for your team but need a 5th, send us an email. We have access to "the pound" and may be able to find another dog you could adopt for the day!!
